Happy holidays! Thank you for taking the time to read my letter, and thank you for writing for me! Everything below, aside from DNWs are just a guide, feel free to write whatever you like, I know I'll love reading it! I'm comfortable with any rating~

- genfic; if you don't want to write the requested ship, that's totally fine! But I'd prefer if you don't split up the main pairing, if you don't plan on writing them together. All pairing dynamics are switchable, and I love reading fic where the dynamic is different to what is usually out there!
- happy endings (I don't mind a lot of suffering to get there, but I really prefer a happy ending)

- on-set getting together is great; what happened on the rainy night in 🐶's trailer? do they decide to kiss to try and work on their chemistry? do they have an ~arrangement~ on set then oops they catch feelings?
- post-filming also great; what happens after filming wraps and they both go on holiday without each other? do they get together during promo? literally everything about the concert???
- I'll devour most melons, so please throw in as much or as little as you like; wedding rings, secret marriage/mutual-adoption around the time of the concert, 🐶 staying with 🐱 in Shanghai, 🐱 staying with 🐶 in Hengdian, 🐱 as the mysterious bad-cook ah-yi, whatever ridiculousness you've seen and want to write about, go for it!
- xiaoyu and susu making appearances would be *chefs kiss*, as well as any members of the SHL cast
Specific DNW: no speculation/heavy focus on 813. I know it's such an elephant in the room at the moment, and I'm totally okay with exploring it, but heavy focus on the event and massive amounts of angst surrounding it... I don't love. If it features in the fic, I'd prefer it to be more about 🐶 and 🐱's friends supporting him
Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty
♥ Sui Zhou/Tang Fan, Sui Zhou/Tang Fan/Wang Zhi, Wang Zhi/Ding Rong
- I'd love Tang Fan/Sui Zhou, but I'm also a fan of Ding Rong/Wang Zhi... and Wang Zhi/Tang Fan/Sui Zhou... whatever takes your fancy.
- while I'd like the endgame to be one of the above ships, just know that Tang Fan can have a past history with literally any of-age character in the show and I'll love it; treat that boy like the town bike if you want. This is probably the only exception to the "don't split the pairing" request I have.
- I'm so soft for the found family dynamics of the show, so feel free to bring in any and all characters (cameos from Jin San are A+) and if you want an everybody lives AU, I'm so down with that.
- what if they really did retire to run that bistro?

- setting can be in-series or post-canon, I don't mind

- anything with Qingming being a snarky bitch
- if Boya still has Zhuque inside him, does this mean he's still Qingming's spirit guardian? How does Qingming feel about that? How does Boya?

- Boya's connection to royalty, does Qingming know?
- feel free to use English or Chinese titles for characters and concepts (eg. Vermillion Bird vs Zhuque, spirit guardian vs shishen)
